Department of Rachana Sharir - Rachana Sharir is an important subject for Ayurveda course. It deals with the study of structure of the human body and it contains topics like Garbha sharir [Embryology], Histology, Anthropometry, Genetics, Marma sharer etc., as per Ayurveda and Modern Science. It is one of the basic subject in the medical science, which deals with the structure of human body. This is one of the vital subject useful for better understanding of principles of treatment. Knowledge of applied anatomy will enable the scholar to do a preliminary diagnosis of the disease. Better understanding of the anatomy of the organs and systems will make a better surgeon. Hands on training in preparation of models, embalming techniques, plastination techniques, anatomical paper art. Drawings - collectively do and learn policy is adopted in the department.

Rachana Sharir Department is well equipped with adequate space as per NCISM norms. Student gets both theory and practical knowledge in this subject. Teaching staff is as per NCISM norms. Dissection hall is adequate with two tanks to preserve dead bodies. It is well ventilated. Dissected organs of all systems are collected and preserved in our Institution Rachana sharir museum. Ayurveda and modern books are sufficient in our departmental library. Adequate numbers of modern and Ayurveda charts are available. Modern technique is used for teaching
